  • Last week I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast cancer. I am due to have surgery in a few days...I think I may be imagining it but now feel like I have trapped wind in my shoulder and my breast feels heavier than it did. Does anyone have experience of this?
  • Hi On the Shelf,    sorry to hear your diagnosis of breast cancer. Its very early day for you and all sorts of things will be going through your mind. You will probably find these symptoms are anxiety based, its all a bit of a shock at the moment. It is perfectly normal to feel like you do, there are many stages you will go through but please just take each day as it come. I have come to realise every day is different, but when you have had your surgery and a treatment plan is put in place you will feel less stressed and a lot of those feelings will go away. I have been on this road a while now and its rocky for sure, but there are new and fantastic treatments on offer. Keep safe best wishes xx
