I had a letter yesterday to say I have a nuclear medicine full body bone scan on monday.
Then a phone call to offer me a CT scan tomorrow, Friday.
Then results meeting on the 20th.
So its moving quite quickly.... never quick enough when you just want answers though, but I know it takes time.
So hats off to the NHS.
You are so right in saying that however quickly things move it is never quick enough. I didn’t have a bone scan - not sure why as most people in my situation seem to. I did have a CT which was a doddle - & my BCN called me 2 days later with result.
My timeline was delayed by my surgeon having 2 weeks annual leave. I am now having surgery on Saturday & I suppose in reality I have probably only had a delay of a week or so, allowing for the CT But my mind at times runs away with thoughts of what may have happened during the last 4 to 5 weeks since I went for my screening recall.
Hope all goes well and you soon have your treatment plan.
I think the thing is that to us every day is a day to long, but to them the wait is normal.
Best wishes with your treatment.
