Biopsies left me with awful bruising. That bought back how much trauma l have been carrying thanks to growing up with a sister with antisocial behaviour disorder who died in hospital over the height of covid. Kicked off a bad reaction to anything to do with hospitals.
Should have started chemo pre surgery mid Feb but had three adverse reactions no matter what the hospital tried. Scared me a lot and thought l had failed. Oncologist made space and listened first dr to do so. Disclosed about sisters psychological, physical and financial abuse and she moved heaven and earth to get me setraline to help. She has since changed the drug l kept reacting to an alternative with a different carrier base. Managed the whole lot last week but it’s been horrible to get this far. Hospital now doing all they can to help me feel a bit safer. Local charity run cancer care centre have helped by organising trauma counselling which has been a huge relief.
Immediate family is neurodiverse but being as supportive as they can.
hence the name wibble. ,
