Hi, I am new here. I was diagnosed with cancer at the start of July. Surgery towards end of August to remove 75mm tumour, pathology results showed it was a malignant Phyllodes Tumour - very rare to have this, especially a malignant one. Further surgery planned for end of October to give clearer margins and radiotherapy likely to be after Christmas. First 2 years are crucial with this - if reoccurrence within 2 years likelihood it has spread much higher - prob to lungs as it travels through bloodstream not lymphatic system. If clear for 2 years long term prognosis is much better. It’s all been a huge shock and I am worried and anxious. I don’t want to be paranoid all the time - want to be able to ‘put it in a box’ and live as normally as possibly. Any tips? Anyone else have / had a malignant Phyllodes Tumour?
