Hi, thank you all for sharing your stories, it's kept me sane over the passed few months. I was diagnosied at the end of January , 3.5cm lobular and 1 positive node er+ MRI scan showed it was bigger( never been told the size) but needed CT and bone scan, today I got the results of the CT scan and I have a micro dot on my vertebrae so need another MRI scan before surgery. So frustrating I'm a single mum with a 12 and 14 year old and just want to get the ball rolling!
Hi KMcson
Sending all my love and virtual
I feel for you. I had a similar experience. I had my biopsy at end of January, but diagnosed in first with IDC and Her2+ with clear nodes 2 weeks later. Size of the lump was 57mm x46mm.Then 2 weeks later post CT scan with nodules in both lungs. Again no idea of the size of the ones in the lungs.
My treatment should have started last week but got delayed as I needed an Echocardiogram. Finally started chemo yesterday!
Waiting to start is always the hardest. Going from one appt is like you move from one waiting room in limbo to another.
We have all experienced this in some way and we are with you. You are not alone.
You should reach out to BCN and they will assist you in anyway they can. It doesn't have to be about the treatment, it can also be about how your feeling or any other concerns that you have.
I'm sure some of the others here will send you links to other websites/information.
But for now, hoping the best possible outcome.
