Hello. I am new here and this is my first post. I’m 39, had the whole suite of diagnostics for a lump (mammogram, ultrasound and a fine needle biopsy). All looked good except the last, which came back as C4 (probably malignant).
I now need to have an excision, and an the excised lump biopsies again to determine what happens next.
I don’t live in the UK, but would like to come to have the lumpectomy, paying as a cash patient. My home country has only 3 breast surgeons, two of which are very new and the one experienced one operates in a hospital that I do not trust. I have family in london for support, but no guidance on where to go.
I have been told Royal Marsden, but when I looked it up on this forum there were mixed reviews. I am fortunate to have some savings I am willing to use for this, but I also have no notion of what kind of expense I would be looking at.
Any help would be appreciated
