Hiya just finished chemo 2 weeks ago any tips on what i can put on my scalp to help my hair grow quicker or any reccomend shampoos im completely bald thankyou
I didn't use anything at all on my hair other than water for the first few months or so. Be prepared that it takes a long time to come back. For me, it didn't really look like there was much there until 3-4 months in. It then grew very slowly for at least another year.
When I started using cleansing products, I stuck to paraben/SLS etc free stuff and still use that.
I used this light scalp oil from Même cosmetics every day throughout chemo up until my hair grew back and I couldn't really spray it on anymore. I also used their 'care shampoo' when my hair started growing back and was enough to warrant washing. My hair grew back nicely and good quality - how much is down to the products I don't know, but I like to think they helped! From time to time I use the left over spray on my hair before bed and brush it through/massage my scalp as an extra bit of nourishment for my scalp :)
Hi estartit, whilst I didn’t go completely bald, I did loose most of my hair. I had the Gollum look. I finished my chemo in April (my hair started to grow back whilst I was on docetaxel) and now I have a complete covering. It’s about 1 and a half centimetres in length . I use Faith in Nature Shampoo and a hair serum from UK lash. I also use their eyebrow and eyelash serums too. My eyebrows are completely back and my eyelashes are doing well. I have included the link for you should you wish to have a look.

Definitely try Rosemary, ginger & mint water, Rosemary Oil, Faith in nature shampoo, Watermans Hair Growth Shampoo, Lee Stafford Hair Growth shampoo , Aveeno Shampoo.
These are all things I'm going to try once I finish my chemo treatments. I just shaved all my hair off couldn't deal with the pain of watching it fall out.
Hope these help you. Xx
First of all, congratulations on finishing chemo – that’s such a strong journey ️
Hair usually starts growing back naturally within a few weeks to months, but the scalp can be very sensitive at this stage. Try using a very gentle, sulfate-free shampoo and avoid harsh chemicals.
Some people find peptide-based scalp serums and mild growth-support shampoos helpful during regrowth. Brands like KilgourMD focus on scalp-friendly formulations that are designed to support healthier-looking hair as it grows back.
Most importantly, be patient with yourself – your body has been through a lot, and regrowth takes time. Wishing you healthy and strong hair ahead
First of all, congratulations on finishing chemo — that’s a huge step and I wish you a smooth recovery. Hair usually starts growing back slowly after treatment, so being gentle with your scalp is really important. Many people find that using mild, sulfate-free shampoos, keeping the scalp moisturized, and maintaining a nutrient-rich diet can help support healthier regrowth. Patience is key because hair often comes back gradually over the next few months.
If you're also exploring scalp care products and hair growth support options, I came across some helpful information and savings here: https://www.reecoupons.com/view/kilgourmd. It might give you a few ideas for products that support scalp health. Wishing you the best on your hair regrowth journey!
