Hi,
I am on tamoxifen and wondered if people had experienced problems if their brand was changed.
People seem to post lots of problems they have with letrozole and if the brand is changed and I wondered if this was the same with tamoxifen. So far I’ve not found anything so am assuming that tamoxifen doesn’t cause so many issues.
Thanks cuffcake x x x x x
Hello Cuffcake, I've been on Tamoxifen since March this year. Each month I've had a different brand. So far I've not noticed any significant changes other than joint aches in my knees particularly. Next month I'm going to ask for the same brand if he can get hold of it. Otherwise, I don't have the energy to phone around pharmacies. Its just pot luck.
I wish you well.
Thanks Slow and steady. I have had some aches in my hips with the brand I’m on at the moment. Also the usual hot flushes but mainly those happen overnight. I know my local chemist has a different brand to the one I got from the hospital. Pharmacy does Genisis and hospital did Mylan. Think I will have to give them a try and see how I get on.

Good morning, dito. Mayland from the hospital for my first batch. Then the chemist gave me genesis but couldn't get it again. Currently, can't recall the 3rd brand at the moment. Its just going to be pot luck which is rather annoying and stressful. Have a great day x
