Hi all
Spent hours reading through the forum and have taken lots of strength from comments.
I was told I had stage 2 IDC in January and had a WLE in feb along with sentinel node biopsy which came back clear. My cancer is Her2+ & Er+. I am 54 years old.
I had my first chemo (taxol) this Wednesday and sadly had a dramatic allergic reaction after only 16ml of it hitting my picc line. The herceptin injection went fine it was just the chemo. Ended up in another hospital with a suspected stroke and to be honest was all rather dramatic and something I do not want to repeat ever.
Has anyone else had a severe reaction and if so what’s been your treatment moving forwards? I am meeting with oncology on Monday to see what’s what and I know it will all be individual to each of us but just wondered if anyone else had reacted.

Hi milly mo I had several bad reactions to docetaxel felt like I was having a heart attack pains in chest and back and shooting pains down my legs they then gave me it very slowly added another hour to my treatment at one stage they thought I might not be able to take it again but giving it to me slowly worked I wish you well I know its a roller coaster the only way to get rid of the nasty demon it to stick with it xx
