Everywhere I read it says lcis is not cancer but gives u a higher chance of gettin it! Is it normal to feel lick I’m a ticking time bomb for when it happens (if it does) I’ve always had problems with my breasts especially pain all the time and get cysts they say it’s something I have to live with I’m only 42 and after years of painful breasts which stop me doing stuff can I ask for removal and reconstructive surgery
Hi Iggy80
Waiting for results is quite stressful which is probably why you are feeling sick, also it could be because of the anesthetic. Depending on your results your surgeon may recommend a mastectomy but only on the affected breast. If they don't recommend a mastectomy you could ask them at your meeting on Thursday for one, they can only say no.
