Hi, I’m newly diagnosed on Thursday 2nd March, I got my picc line in place yesterday, having clips put in on Monday and start chemo/immunotherapy on Tuesday 7th March, anyone else here new and nervous? It’s all happening so fast.
Hi Bearbear75 it's a scary time but the good news about this being so fast is that you can be reassured that your treatment is starting quickly. Many people have a few weeks to wait and that can be a really worrying time. I hope your first chemo goes well on Tuesday, Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Best wishes
Thank you, I know I’m lucky it’s happening quickly. I was just a bit overwhelmed earlier, but I’ve had a word with myself.
Hi, I had chemo before surgery and it started about a month after my diagnosis. I blogged throughout, but this one might help you as it's some of the things I wish I'd known. Chemo Blog
And don't forget you can chat to the lovely folks at Macmillan for any questions or concerns. The contact info is here MacMillan contacts
