Hi Valleyside, I also had my op (therapeutic mammaplasty with 1 lymph node biopsy) on the 1st December. My op got put back 3 weeks as I needed a further mri and biopsy to check other suspect areas. That made waiting even more stressful I must say. It is the waiting that makes it difficult. I also expect my results on 14th December. My CN said that due to the size of the tumour (35mm) I would be having radiotherapy and hormone blockers. My tumour is E and P 8, but HER negative. I am staying positive as I need to be, and am happy with my smaller but healing left boob. I read yesterday that boobs are sisters, not twins. That helped.
Thank you for your message. I have no idea about my HER2 results because I haven’t had them. I had DCIS and IDC in my right breast. The DCIS was 8mm and the IDC 14mm, so relatively small. I have been told I will need radiotherapy.
