Hi. I'm newly diagnosed and awaiting plan. I just know they found a small lump but not yet had my lymph nodes tested.
Sleep is a major issue. Everytime I close by eyes I think the worst. The dark hours are so long and when I do sleep I wake up in a panic!
I'm fine in day and although my thoughts are all over and constant I can rationalise them and talk it out.
Hi Disneyqueen
I bought myself some cheap wireless air buds and they changed my life. I started listening to relaxation apps, but moved onto podcasts and audiobooks, all free stuff online. My earbuds work if I only use one at a time, so I can sleep on my side. Similar to Sapphire I find it’s really useful to have something to listen to so I’m not left alone with my own thoughts. I tend to drop off really quickly while listening. Plus I have found loads of amusing and interesting podcasts so, even if I’m awake, I’m quite enjoying myself. Best of luck xx
I am definately going to get some and give them a try. Thank you.
Hi Disneyqueen,
I also find it hard to sleep. I find I lay there and my brain goes in to overdrive. I often end up on the sofa with the tv on to try and stop my mind wandering. It does help and I do drift off. Sometimes it can take a while.
