Hi. Good morning. I’ve just started on the ad cal d3 caplets and found I felt a bit nauseous. I know you have to avoid certain foods for two hours before and after taking them, but can anyone recommend any food they’ve eaten at the same time as taking the caplets to avoid nausea please?
I had a friend on adcal and she couldn't tolerate as its calcium carbonate they changed her to calcium citrate ans she had no bother. Do worrh asking doc if this perists
Hi had trouble with constipation on Adcal despite a healthy high fibre diet so I now take calcium acetate and seperate Vit D after discussion with GP and doing research. That sorted it but now have 2 tablets twice a day instead of the 1 Adcal twice a day ! Calcium acetate and citrate have less elemental calcium than calcium carbonate but I have plenty of calcium in my diet so not concerned about that and I'm reassured tbh thst I'm not overdoing the amount of calcium I have circulating as had similar concerns to Eline about this
