Hi, I was really scared about chemo when I first had my meeting with the on oncologist but I was pretty lucky and found it much easier than I expected. I blogged all the way through, so if you're interested have a read here Blog link. Good luck
Hello Bluesapphire, I was really worried too like everyone is about chemo, I'm having my last session tomorrow. I had 3 ER and 3 Docetaxel, I think the worst part was the hairless that left me veremotional, but the day had it shaved off and my new wig I started to feel better, it will grow back I kept telling myself and I'll have lots of different hairstyles to look forward to..I was complet
y exhausted with chemo nauseous and achy pains. Just make sure you get plenty of rest and drink fluids..food will taste strange and horrible at times but it does fly in..I started mine on the 23rd
cember. Good luck and you'll get lots of advice and tips on here
Hi. Had my op in Jan, had 2 cycles of FEC, pretty tired still, last Injection this morning. It is doable, hairloss is still a big issue for me, venturing out in beanie chemo caps, wig is not bad at all. Trying to carry on as normal as far as possible. Bone density scan booked for tomorrow. Having 6 cycles of FECT every 3 weeks, plus Herceptin injections, plus Radiotherapy, and Anastrazole for several years. Jo x
