Hi I'm about a month post left mastectomy and being plus size and big boobed I really struggled with the very soft bras. They're comfy but absolutely no support for my right breast (42J). My free moving breast pulled my scar quite a bit in the centre. I got an M&S 42H which I've worn a couple of times for short periods. It's quite firm and feels secure but feels tight. But the good news is I'm now able to wear my pre-op Elomi underwired bras with a bit of DIY removal of the left underwire and an added bra extender for a bit more width. I feel human again! I would definitely recommend recycling your older bras if you can. Wearing 'normal' underwear really gave me an uplift - literally!
