Letrozole, palbociclib, denosumab drugs say so not joking. 3 weeks since diagnosis what a roller coaster ride. Top tips welcome.
Hi, welcome to the website no one wants to look for! I'm just through chemo and had surgery this week, so a few steps ahead of you. The first few weeks were the worst, the uncertainty for sure, but for me once I had a plan it got easier.
Blogging has helped me, and this might be of use
good luck
Hi - so sorry you’ve not got just a breast cancer diagnosis , but a secondary one at the same time. I’m not in the same place as you, but do take heart from the fact that there are many women living well with a secondary diagnosis ( Jane Devonshire won master chef after her secondary diagnosis ) if you google her you can read her story. There are many fantastic drugs around now , and more coming along all the time , that can keep people alive and well for many, many years. There is a Secondary Breast cancer group on Macmillan , although not as busy as this one , and several ladies on here who have lived with the secondary diagnosis too who may be able to help you . LondonLass is one of those special ladies.
I hope you can come to terms with your diagnosis and have some support to help you with this ? The Macmillan helpline will also be able to offer you support.
Very best wishes to you , and hope your treatment isn’t too hard.
Jo xx
