Hi all I’m new here I was diagnosed with tnbc stage 3 , grade 3, with 4 lymph nodes involved in Oct 2020.. had single mastectomy and had chemo n radiotherapy... treatment finished 2 months ago and I’m worried about recurrence... I’ve asked for other breast to be removed to reduce risk and I’m just waiting for surgeon to contact me about this... I’ve noticed a lot of ladies have been given meds to take after chemo n radio had finished but I haven’t been offered any I’m not sure if I should ask why and I haven’t been offered genetic testing either which I think would be for the best......
Hi Spanna747
Welcome to the forum and sorry to that you were diagnosed with TNBC last year. I was diagnosed with TNBC in September 2020. I would ask your medical team for genetic testing and why you haven’t been given further meds to take after finishing chemo and radiotherapy if only to set your mind at rest.
Wishing you all the best.

I’m having further chemo as there was still some cancer left in one of the two lymph nodes that my surgeon took to make sure that I don’t have a recurrence. x
