Diagnosed tnbc in May. Had lumpectomy and on my 2nd cycle of fec-t chemo on Tues, then radio therapy after chemo. I'm embracing this diagnosis with humour and positivity but don't know how long I can keep it up. Feeling bit low as work said there's no availability for me to work from home so have to stay on sick and go on half pay soon. Im starting to get anxious about next chemo on Tuesday as 1st cycle absolutely floored me with the side effects. Feel like I might just break down, which I have never done yet.
Sorry you have to find yourself here. Try calling the Macmillan help line who may be able to point you in the direction of available benefits for you. If it is possible for you to work from home I cannot understand why your work won't let you do it. Sending best wishes your way.
They found things for others to do whilst shielding last year and now it's unavailable!!!!!!! Am going to look into it. Just feel like I'm on a bit of a downward spiral. Just need some positivity back in my life. Thank you best wishes to you too x
