Hi, I'm new to this and saying hello.
I am 70 years old and was diagnosed in April 2021 after mets were found following a chest xray. A scan/biopsy confirmed stage 4 breasr cancer and a CT scan revealed widespread mets.I am currently on letrozole, palbociclib and drnosumab and feeling fragile.
Anyone else.in this position?

Hello Telua
Sorry to hear the news of your diagnosis. I think every one of us here has days when we feel very fragile, even if we are putting on big girl pants and the bravest of faces for our families, friends and loved ones.
The important thing is that they have fund the mets and can now take appropriate action to treat them for you. There are so many wonderful new drugs which target the different types of breast cancer cells. I am sure that your team have got you on the very best cocktail of meds for your situation. I am not familiar with your drugs beyond the letrozole, which I am also taking. I was not diagnosed with mets, so I am not walking exactly the same path that you are on. I had a large lump >5cm and positive lymph nodes confirmed by biopsy. What I do know is that the cocktail that they gave me worked like magic to make my lump soften and then shrink and disappear before the surgery. At surgery there was no cancer left where the lump had been or in the nodes they removed, which had turned fibrous.
If you continue to feel fragile, please phone your specialist nurse and ask for some support. The nurses are great and will do everything they can help you to feel better about your treatment and to put you in touch with others who can help.
Hoping and praying that you get a similar result from your meds as I did from mine.
Let us know how things go for you.
All the best
