Hello there I hope everyone is coping with the hot weather, I gave up on my bra today, too uncomfortable, My arm causes friction which is worse when warm and without the dressing. Can anyone give advice following removal of lymph nodes I have a lumpy jagged wound which is sore any suggestion of cream maybe?
I do recommend the M&S front zip fastening soft support bra its great I am only small so don't require a lot of support but the assistant Pauline in Eastbourne branch was most helpful & knowledgeable said she recommends them a lot to us ladies..
love n hugs xx
Hi izzymiyake welcome to the forum. Good for you ditching the bra it wont do any harm to be free for a while.
I would be tempted to get that wound looked at by the GP or Breast Nurse when it is sore like that it could be ok but could also be developing an infection. I wouldnt put any cream on that arm until someone has had a look at that wound.
Thanks Granny59 for your reply I don't think it is infected, the Dr. signed me off to Oncology and not answering my email. It's a thick join of skin in a awkward friction area which is hot due to weather and no deodorant .. so I'll just keep it cool.
Best wishes x
