Hi all i am new to these groups so any help is gratefully welcome i was diagnosed in jun with left breat grade3 invasive ductal cancer i started my first chemo last wednesday already forgot the abbreviation but is basically and injection of 2 hormones and 2 different chemo drips. I had an allergic reaction to the first drip which meant an extra steriod and piriton injection to allow me to continue. Dont know if anyone else has exoerienced the same but my sleep since has been rubbish got some sleeping tablets from the doc but not seen the greatest improvement

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and that you had a allergic reaction to the first drip you were given. While I didn’t experience the same reaction as you to my chemo I noticed you haven’t had any replies to your post so I thought I would answer it as this is a very busy group and sometimes posts get missed. It’s probably the steroids that are causing the lack of sleep. There is an awake thread on the forum which you can post to anytime day or night.
