I had a Left Mastectomy Sept 2020, I had breast cancer back in 1995 two operations..I see you all had a drain in after your ops, I didn't..I did however have it drained Oct 2020, where I suffered a massive heart attack, that's beside the point..I am & have been really upset by the look & feel, the surgeon said give it 12 months, but nothings changed, it's tight lumpy & painful from time to time.....Maybe it's my age who knows..I'm 75

I'm sorry to read that you've just dealt with your second diagnosis of breast cancer and that during your treatment you had a heart attack. This coupled, with the fact that you are not happy with the look and feel of your breast, must be very upsetting.
I wonder, now that you've given it 12 months, whether it would be worth speaking to your BCN and explain to her how unhappy you are with the results of your mastectomy.
