Hi. I’m new to this site today. Just had my 11th week of chemo. After week 10 I started feeling unwell. Have to take anti sickness 4 days after them chemo for 2/3 days. My energy levels have dropped significantly but on the positive side I’m not being sick, my nails and skin look fab and I’ve put in half a stone. Ok so the weight gain isn’t welcome but I’m sure it’ll go once chemo is over. 3 weekly herceptin injections which go quite well. Was diagnosed in November 2020 and had a mastectomy in January 2021. While I wear a prosthetic breast I’m not happy with how it looks. Was wondering if anyone else had the same issues. I’m going to speak to my cancer care nurse to go in the waiting list for an elective mastectomy in the other breast. Has anyone else been down this road or also waiting for the same kind of procedure?

I don't have the experience you're looking for but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. This is probably because this is such an active group that your post has slipped off the first page before someone with the right experience has seen it. Replying to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where it has more chance of being seen.
