Hello I have been diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer herpecin positive. Have to have two types of chemo fo 6 months, 18 herpecin injections then my breast and lymph nodes removed and radiation to follow, had my first round of chemo yesterday and have to say I feel fine apart from I’ve hardly slept and my mouth is a bit dry. Is anyone having the same sort of treatment, if yes how are you doing
I had this regime of chemo 4years ago, it builds up but side effects well controlled and you are one down 5 to go. The Herceptin is easy compared but I did notice how much better I felt when I finished. I just wanted to encourage you, take each step as it comes and you get there, then grab life and live it to the full. You will not be the same but in lots of ways stronger and more aware of the blessings. People may let you down but so many will be wonderfully kind and supportive. The survival rates are good, wishing you the very best xx
Hi - this is a real long shot, but do you still have any R1/R2 which you no longer want, and was it any good ? I'm due radiotherapy soon.
Hi, tomorrow I have my last chemo and my diagnosis sounds similar to your. Have a look at my blog, One Life Live It, and perhaps this post helps a bit. Best wishes and shout if you need any support x
