Hi , so sorry you are having to go through this again. Hopefully the lumps turn out to be benign. If not you've beaten this once so you'll do it again. Treatment has progressed a lot over the years, success rates are very high and there seem to be meds to deal with most side effects.
This waiting period is the worst and there isn't much you can do other than keep yourself as busy as possible. What helped me was reading all the success stories on here and chatting with others going through the same.
There is a thread called AWAKE on the Chat section where lots of us just generally chat, moan, laugh etc. Someone is usually on there at all hours of the day and night so great if you can't sleep.
Thank you so Much for all your support it makes a massive difference knowing people have your back. 1st time round I did it all by myself in the last couple of days my right arm has become heavy and aches as well as pain in my arm pit. I know none of this is a good sign as the lumps are in my right breast ( the same side as it was 14 years ago) thank you I will try the thread. And hope to speak to you again. X
there is no need for you to go through this by yourself again there are so many lovely ladies on here and so much support.
I can see why your anxious but until you get it looked at at a breast clinic you can't know what it is. It is impossible not to worry though. It's the hardest time on this journey.
From stories I've read on here breast cancer can still be very treatable even if it's spread into the lymph nodes. There are also people on here who have been living many years with incurable cancer.
