Just had picc line inserted and first chemo didn't think I'd feel drained so quick. Very low energy and feel useless not being able to stuff I normally would. I know it's early days but don't know how I'll cope with next 5 treatments 17 weeks seems long time away
Hi Nljw welcome to the forum and sorry to hear how rotten that you are feeling. Chemo takes the feet from you and can leave you feeling wiped out for few days after the treatment. You are definetely not useless but I get what you might feel like that but hopefully this will pass and you will be able to do all that you had previously been able to.
I wondered if you knew that we have a chemo thread in the forum and Im inserting the link to this for you as lots of folks in there like you maybe just starting or ongoing with chemo but lots of tips and ideas about how to get through this.
Sending some hugs your way meantime.xxxx
