Hi
I'm Pat and I'm about to start my chemo soon. Not sure when see the on oncologist next week. Really scare so any advice regarding sickness or anything else would be a great help. Look forward to getting to know you all.
Hi
Just to put your mind at ease - I was never sick ! Well I was once but that was due to me taking cocodamol which didn’t agree with me .
A lot depends on what chemo regime you are on and the fact that we are all very different unique beings . As my Chemo nurse said - don’t go looking for side effects , they will find you or they might not bother you .
Write up a wee bit about yourself on your profile, then we will get to know you without you repeating yourself.
on this site you will find a great support network if Ladies and men . They are a wonderful bunch and have made my journey a better one , their knowledge and friendship is wonderful .
it’s now over 2 1/2 years since I finished treatment and I am living a good and happy life - happier once covid backs off !
I notice yours name , I started knitting again at the start of lockdown 2020 and it’s been great . My latest effort is my profile picture .
lots of love
Ruby Rose
Hi Ruby Rose
Thank you for your advise. When I know everything about my treatment I will post it and improve my profile. I'm trying to keep smiling. Your profile is sad sorry about your mum. Lost mine years ago and 2 sisters. One not even a year ago.
So happy for you that your life is back on track.
