Hi I'm new at posting on here and was wondering if anyone is suffering from breathlessness and heart palpatations I've been to GP and spoke to my breast nurse I've had ecg xray heart tracing and a scan and I thought my GP would give me the results but I have received a letter saying I have to go and see a cardiology specialist nurse does this mean they have found something x
Hi glamourousgranny
In a nutshell not necessarily, there can be many reasons why they may want to see you for example maybe they want a longer trace period.
i still had an appointment to go through any symptoms after my results came in which is standard for everyone i believe, i have previously had heart surgery and had exhibited a couple of symptoms but they said my test results were normal but i am on their radar. I have another echo booked for june.
I know it is very worrying and you cannot rule out there may indeed be something underlying but from my experience cardiology are absolutely amazing and the technological advances they have made over the years is astounding. They had me in within 24hrs when there was an issue and gave me 10 years before i would require further surgery, that was 11 years ago. I had a great experience with surgery and recovery and have been really well ever since. ( apart from Cancer).
Sounds like they have been extremely thorough and i hope that all goes well for you.

Thank you I suppose if the found something bad they would have me in a lot quicker to see them it just seems that everytime you think your turning a corner something else pops up its definitely a long journey x stay safe x
Just realised I should of said that I had breast cancer Feb 2020 and have had lumpectomy chemo radiotherapy and now on my second lot of hormone therapy first was letrozole they nearly crippled me so now I'm on tamoxifen but have been told to stop them for 4 weeks to see if it's the tablets causing the problem xx
