Hi
I had breast cancer nearly two years ago.
I thought it would be nice to be in touch with people with similar experiences.
Hi and a very warm welcome to the forum. My diagnosis was 2 and a half years ago so similar time frame. If you click on my name you can read my profile for details, basically a lumpectomy, radiotherapy and ongoing hormone zappers. I’ve found this site a wonderful source of support and shared experiences. Nowadays I’m mainly to be found on the Walking back to Happiness thread, in the Chat section. Walking has been my sanity saver these past 2 years, without doubt.
How are you getting on, 2 years down the line? I have found that each stage of my cancer diagnosis and ongoing treatment has brought its own challenges. Sending a big virtual welcome hug your way, HFxx
Hi HF
Thank you for your reply and welcome .
I see the breast consultant next Tuesday so will be glad to be checked over again not seen anyone since my radiotherapy in 2019.
I can feel a thickening in my breast the same side so bit worried about that hopefully will be scar tissue .
Hope you are going on ok .
I love walking too xx
