I’m going stir crazy waiting for my breast clinic appointment. It’s reassuring in a strange way that I’m feeling the same as every one else going through the same, but wow it can be a lonely place ?
I found a lump a few weeks ago, but have had shoulder and chest pain for about 6 months, now my left breast is clearly fuller than the right. I have my apt on Monday 2 weeks and 4 days after my initial referral, I’m still grateful to be seen even though it’s felt like a lifetime. I spoke to my GP today because I started to bleed, as in period! I’ve not had a period for a year since having my ovaries removed last year (benign tumours) I’ve been on continuous HRT and thought it was playing up because I’ve got myself so worked up. The GP has put me on another fast track referral. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.. I’m doing both! Has anyone else had similar. I feel like I’m being a single and total drain on the NHS. I’m also terrified of what it al means ?
