Hi everybody, just want to say hello. I was lucky enough to get my cancer picked up by a routine mammogram. Hadn't felt a thing. Everything is happening so quickly it's scary. :-(
Hi Beajay, I was the same - got a patch of tinted skin on my left breast checked out my GP nurse - no lumps, bumps or pain - in 3 months I had biopsies, surgery and diagnosis of intermediate DCIS. Today will be day 3 of radiotherapy. Yes, scary how quickly it can all happen, but also utterly marvellous... and how wonderful that yours got picked up by a routine mammogram... proof that the system works. I joined for support with the emotions that come with the territory. How are you doing in that space? Best of luck with your treatment xx
Hello good morning, it is very scary as you day but also really brilliant that we are getting appointments and plans in place quickly. I will get results of a second breast biopsy and lymph node biopsy tomorrow so im hoping to know my exact treatment plan and go from there. I hope you all hve a good day.
