Hi I have E+breast cancer I had a lumpectomy and 2 nodes removed last Thursday I have felt very tired and anxious lightheaded after the operation I get my results on Tuesday and I am so worried about that I find it hard to sleep through the night and I have days when I am very emotional.
Hi Shazlolo welcome to the forum. That feeling of lightheadedness can be because of the anaesthetic as it can take up to 7 or more days to get fully out of your system. That said if you feel as if you are going to pass out then you maybe need to have a chat with the GP as they can check this out for you.
Anxiety and worry on the other hand are par for the course when you are going through what you are and it doesn't get any easier until those results are in and you then know what the plan is and what it is you are dealing with but it is all doable and do it you will.
Its ok to be emotional and its ok to cry and scream at the world.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you are and how you get on as we will be thinking of you.
Meanwhile Im sending some huge big hugs your way for now. xxxx
