I had my single mastectomy last Thursday, with immediate reconstruction.  The op went really well and I’ve had no pain since.  I didn’t see anything in your bio’s but it would be good to connect if we are at the same stage of treatment

Hi Rosie04, I had my single mastectomy on the 26th Jan. My op went well too and thank God they found that the cancer hadn’t spread to my lymph nodes.  I didn’t have a reconstruction but I was lucky as I didn’t have a drain and the wound is healing nicely. Apart from a bit of difficulty lifting my arm at first, it is getting easier.  I’m getting fitted for my prosthetic breast tomorrow.  I’m glad to know you haven’t any pain. So it’s onwards and upwards!
