I was diagnosed last Thursday but I need a MRI this week do they can stage it they have said.
if I keep busy I’m ok but sometimes I find myself feeling quite scared of the unknown
I have a 16 year old son Autistic and Adhd child who really needs a lot from me and he’s about to do his exams at school here in Northen Ireland
feeling pretty overwhelmed

Hi, welcome to the club no one wants to join. MRI is normal after a diagnosis, just to make sure it hasn't spread elsewhere. I don't know how bad your son is but do you have family members who can help you cope? The waiting for results/staging/treatment plans can seem so long but once they are all sorted you will know where you are and can plan for the help you will need. Please remember, breast cancer if very treatable and you can have plenty of years to enjoy life after the treatment is over.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
