I have just swapped oncologists who seems to be doing a lot more scans and testing…I have a ct scan booked and he has done lots of blood tests (I am nearly at the end of my bc treatment) and I have got an elevated CA19-9 result. I wondered whether anyone else had had this and hoping there is nothing to worry about!
I have had taxel/carboplatin, op, radiotherapy and now 13 cycles of Kadcyla. I’m hoping the finish line is in sight but I am not worried that I might have something else! A quick google suggests this is linked to pancreatic cancer….
