Going for a walk

Could the forum give me some advice when I can go for short walk.op was on Tuesday I don't have drain I have been doing my exercises & resting in between.i feel steady on my feet & only slight discomfort in wound but nothing that requires pain relief.would just like a little walk.thankyou everyone big hugs.xx

I was told that I could start walking again as soon as I felt able/comfortable. I just started with short walks and built up to my normal daily walk.

I’d advise you to try a circular walk, that way you can cut back easily if you feel tired, and don’t forget this sudden heat will also exhaust you.

Thank you mòomy.i live near the beach only 5 mins away.thought I would walk there & back for first few walks.hopefully starting to cool down a bit in next few days.its been so hot with having to wear the surgical bra day & night.xx

Hi New2This that sounds the perfect place for a walk . Walking us good for us all both physically and mentally so enjoy the beach and many lovely walks. The beach is my absolute favourite place and so calming as well. Enjoy xxxx
