I had a therapeutic mammoplasty a year and a half ago followed by intensive radiotherapy. Recently my breast has become inflamed and red with a hardening of the scarring. I went and had an ultrasound and was told it’s skin changes due to radiotherapy. Now though my armpit has become slightly lumpy and a little numb is this normal or so I have to return for an ultrasound under my armpit. I did not have my lymph nodes removed as the cancer had not spread there.
