From not being able to sleep I can now sleep way too much. This morning I woke up at 7:30, had breakfast then my daughter joined me in bed (she’s got a severe learning disability) and we both slept till midday. I haven’t started the next phase of treatment yet so it’s not a side effect. Its now 4 weeks post lumpectomy.
Completely agree with GreyCats, don't fight it. It is early days and you are still recovering from your operation, not to mention the shock of diagnosis.
I did find a walk every day helped but you'll gradually want to sleep less and less during the day as you recover.
Antibiotics always make me feel very tired and you're fighting an infection too, another reason to feel extra tired.
Thank you. Saw my BCN today and had 360ml seroma drained today. Bit different to last weeks 920ml! Asked her about the tiredness too and I’m reassured that it’s ok.
