Would like to know if anyone is suffering with peripheral neuropathy and if they can give me some advice on how to cope with the pain. I've had chemo, then a mastectomy and radiotherapy. I'm now on Kadcyla chemotherapy and feeling at my lowest since starting treatment.
Hi Sharon, it’s incredibly painful, you must highlight this to your care team as they can help with peripheral neuropathy pain and it isn’t good to leave it unchecked. A close friend who has BC has had issues with it and they’ve been able to help her a lot, no wonder you’re feeling low, this pain will drag you down in moments let alone a sustained period xx
Hi Sharon, she has come back saying they prescribed her painkillers and that they did help so to go back to them and ask for further treatment, she also said that for the pains in her hands she found playing with a stress ball helpful. I’m sorry that I could offer better advice, hopefully someone else will also see your post and advise x
