You’d think with having breast cancer, and waiting for my second operation, and COVID everywhere etc that I’d take the common cold in my stride. But no, I’m miserable and feeling incredibly sorry for myself and wondering how, the four-and-a-half I’ve managed to catch anything whilst masking and avoiding people etc. It doesn’t seem fair that a person like me suffers a cold. I’d like to complain to the Man (or woman) upstairs!
There are days when it seems the Man (or woman) upstairs is on extended leave, doesn't it.
As for how you caught it, it can be as easy as touching the same door knob someone touched who has the cold, but no way to know really. I hope you feel better soon and I agree with you, it's not fair.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
