Hi all
I don’t have breast cancer but I have womb cancer but have been put on anastrazole which I have been told is used with breast cancer. I have been on it just over a week now and just wondering if it is normal to have lower back pain? I have had pain in my back for the last week and I don’t know if it’s the medication or something else. If anyone has any information that would be great, thank you. X
Hi there, there are a few threads in this chat about anastrazole so it might be worth you checking those out. I don't have any personal experience of this treatment, but I am aware that this type of hormone drug can cause joint pains in some people. Hopefully someone else who is in this drug will be able to answer you soon. And this chat might help https://community.macmillan.org.uk/cancer_types/chat-breast-cancer/f/questions-about-diagnosis-and-treatment/208210/oestrogen-reducing-medications#pifragment-13906=3
