My wife has just been called for further tests after a mammogram. She had one in February this year which was clear. Six years ago she had treatment for stage 1 breast cancer.
so I guess I’m hoping for any thoughts from members about this. I know you can’t advise on clinical issues but any support would help my anxieties. Thank you.
Ok well they should be explaining to your wife why they repeated mammogram 6 months later and what the concern is. They monitor changes from previous mammograms so it maybe as simple as a cyst. I had a biopsy on my good breast due to something they saw different to previous mammogram and it turned out it be a bruise that disappeared. But didn't I had to wait a couple of weeks while they repeated their tests.
