Hi! I thought I would write to shed a little laughter on my chemo.
I was so worried about losing my hair, so I opted to endure the ice cap torture . I have done 3 sessions so far and unbelievably I have lost about 95% of my hair.
However, for years I have had a stubborn hairy mole under my chin. No matter what I did it seemed like a veritable compost spot on my face just waiting to sprout hairs while I slept or didn't notice. Not any more!! The Chemo has killed if off!
I might not have hair on man head but I am hairy mole free
Haha, nice! I am at the moment hairless too. No eyebrows, no eyelashes, no hair anywhere. Not having to shave my legs and underarms is certainly a chemo bonus, but I'd love to get my previously-really-long eyelashes back. I expect Mother Nature will take care of that in due course, but if she doesn't then no gift for her next Mother's Day!
So disappointed with the ice cap. I had really thick hair, but I just don't think it fitted properly. I'm left with a monks bald patch and nothing on the back of my head. A few wispy bits everywhere else.
So sorry about your mole Must have been more virile than mine!
It’s more virile than the rest of my hair anywhere!!
