I have had 2 sessions of chemo now and I keep getting this sunburn feeling around my shoulders, back, neck and tops of my arms. I have EC and dexatoxcil. Also I get sore eyes. Has anyone else had these ssymptoms after chemo. The first time round wasn't so bad but this time is twice as bad. Any suggestions would be appreciated Slight smile

I had sore eyes and my skin was sore on the tops of my hands and wrists. Make sure you discuss it with your chemo - they should be able to reassure you or help.

It's not very nice, and with the hot and cold flushes it's exhausting. I feel  sad for everyone going through this, its really not easy x

  • I agree, I also get the hot and cold flushes, in fact almost every round something new has appeared, I’m covered in spots, small little blister rash with puffy, runny eyes atm and chemo again on Tuesday. I know it could be a lot worse watching some people I’m sharing the ward with but the cumulative effect of lots of smaller issues can bring you down, diahorrea, constipation, etc! We’ll get there, big hugs x

Aww you poor thing, how many chemo sessions have you had? I hope today goes OK for you. I hope you're nearly at the end of it, I have 4 more to go and I dread it every time.  Sending hugs Two hearts
