Hi everyone. For the past 24 hours I have been feeling quite spaced out and wondered if its normal and temporary. I am just coming to the end of my first month on Tamoxifen and have my second Zoladex injection on Monday. I also started my radiation 2 days ago and have a chesty cough. Any ideas which part its linked to and if there is anything I can do to relieve the sympykms. Ta everyone.
Wow - that's actually quite a lot you've got going on! No wonder you're spacy.
I can't offer any particular pointers but from reading your message I'd guess that it is completely normal. Your body is getting used to the hormone treatments and you're undergoing radiation. Both of those are full on and will require lots of mental as well as physical adjustment!
Give yourself time, do rest up and hopefully as the days go by you will feel better. If the weird feeling persists beyond a few days do talk to your nurse or GP.
Hang in there
