I had my 2nd treatment a week ago. This morning I have woken up and my legs around my knees are aching so so much. I also had my Zoladex jab for the first time last week. Just wondering if you think this connected and any tips of how to deal with it. I don't think I'll be doing g very much today. TIA
Hi Huntygirl welcome to the forum. I think the treatment I imagine you are meaning chemo and the Zoladex are the culprits in respect of the bone pain. Sadly I think as long as you are on this treatment this may be a regular occurence until things hopefully settle down but I think we are all different in the timescales for this to happen.
Im sure some of the folks on here will be along soon to maybe offer some tips that may be of help for you to make things easier. x
Hi Huntygirl
I had the same issue starting about a week after my chemo and zoledronic infusion (it didn’t happen when I had chemo on its own). For me the pain only lasted a few days. I found paracetamol and going out for a decent walk (despite the achey legs) helped. Best of luck!
