Hi ,
I'm nervously getting ready for next weeks first chemotherapy and thinking about wigs.
Anyone took a chance and bought an Amazon wig ? If so can you recommend any?
Thank you
Jayne
Hi yes I bought some gorgeous ones, don't be scared to try one, I payed £130 for a wig at first from a wig shop and it was no where near as lovely. Most of the ones I ordered from amazon were about £20, mainly very natural brown shoulder length/ bobs, no one ever knew . You can easily return them if u don't like it. I am very fussy and couldn't have gone out if I didn't feel confident or to work. I did get used to the best ones to order, you have to get past the dressy up ones xxx
Thanks Pusheen
I'm going to have a look I don't want human hair I couldn't bere to think that someone needed money so sold their hair. And I wouldn't really fancy putting someone else hair on my head but I know they are very popular . I will go for a long Bob I think I can always cut it . I'm struggling with this I know we go through so much so losing our hair is just a side issue but it's another issue isn't it , to get over.
Thankyou for your reply
Jayne

Hi Jayne there is supposed to be a wig shop in Castle Arcade. I did plan to make an appointment to go there but I’m not sure now what my treatment plan is. I have looked at some on Amazon some look really nice.

Oh well that’s disappointing because I would want to take my daughter with me too, I’m not looking forward to losing my hair or having chemotherapy. I’m not sure when it will be as I had auxiliary clearance last Thursday so now have to wait for those results and they got the HER2 results wrong it’s negative as it was originally, my surgeon said on Thursday that she wants to discuss a trial when she sees me in 3 weeks, so I’m not sure when I’ll be starting chemotherapy as she said depending on the results I may need a CT scan so that holds everything up even more.
I hope everything goes ok with your chemotherapy.
Sending you hugs
Diane xx
