My chemotherapy sessions is over.
And I don't know what shall I do about my hair.what can I use to get my hair and eyelashes out sooner?
Hi Shirins
I just used very natural products. Rubbed olive oil in scalp a couple of times a week and vegan chemical free shampoo ( my daughters vegan very into natural stuff) it's all worked. My hair is thick and growing fast, very grateful for that, eyelashes too. The grey is also lovely. I didn't think it would return but it has, even after full on docetaxol! Worth trying see what u think.

Hi Suh
I'm due chemotherapy and thinking that I won't have cold cap mainly because I don't think it will work on me and I want my treatment over with as soon as possible each session. It's a big decision not to try and save my hair it's such a visual sign that we are I'll isn't it. I hope I can be like you and not use it . X

Hi Jayne
I just found it too unpleasant. But I'm not worried after all hair re-grows doesn't it. It's coming round to the season for wearing hats! Just keep positive.
Hi Shirins, well done for getting through, there is a charity that might be able to help you with your hair www.cancerhaircare.co.uk

Sorry just catching up with posts
Faith in Nature shampoos, smell amazing, no parabens or chemicals xx
I just used water (in the shower) to wash my hair for first few months and then started using conditioners and leave-in conditioners only and I'm really pleased with the condition of my hair. Mine are all SLS and paraben free (so no harsh chemicals) and as natural as possible.
If you wanted to use shampoo, then I agree with Pusheen on Faith in Nature - I was using that brand prior to diagnosis, and they are fantastic and for a natural hair product, they don't break the bank. Lots of different kinds to try for your own hair type too.
I use an eyelash serum for eyelashes and my eyelashes are now better and longer than before chemo! There are loads to choose from, I went for mid range UK Lash, I'm still on my first bottle and have been using since April.
Thank you all. I'm trying the herbal essences vegan shampoo and conditioner.
