I finished my chemotherapy and radiotherapy after having a mastectomy and removal of lymph nodes in October 2019 but unfortunately my hair has never grown back its very very thin and wispy, I have been seeing a dermatologist and tried topical minoxidil for 6 months with no improvement and she now wants me to try oral minoxidil low dose, I am worried about the side effects hair growth on face etc and the fact that you have to keep taking it for it to work.
I wear a hat or a wig when I go out but I would like my hair back has anyone any experience of using this drug ? any advice welcome.
